How to Meditate



Take a second and just stop. Realize what your surroundings are.


What does the air feel like?

Is there a particular scent present?

What can you hear?

Feel the weight of your clothes on your body and your feet on the ground.

Good! You just completed a meditation exercise, believe it or not.

That method of meditation is called mindfulness. Mindfulness is a psychological concept of focusing on awareness.

Another way to meditate is to sit down by yourself and focus on your breathing, and only your breathing. Close your eyes and do nothing for 5 minutes.



Practice focusing on your surroundings and doing nothing for a short while each day and you WILL notice a change! If you are interested in meditating, also try yoga. Good luck in your ventures!
